Mario Petrides, the Managing Director, currently provides accounting services for four Virginia
registered Corporations. Four years as Financial controller of a multi store corporation with a central production facility. Nine years of auditing experience in a CPA firm in South Africa. Musical theatre set building. Currently Chairman of the Board and President of the corporation.
Raynor van der Merwe, the Artistic Director of ETAP, has 20 years experience as a professional performer, director and choreographer. She has two teaching diplomas in Jazz and in Tap from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (London, U.K.). Born in South Africa, she has appeared in professional shows, television specials, commercials, movies and industrials.
In addition to her work with ETAP, Miss van der Merwe has been guest choreographer for the Reston Community Players and American Music Stage. In 2003 she received the WATCH (Washington Area Theatre Community Honors) Outstanding Choreography Award for her contribution to the American Music Stage production of “Crazy for You.” She is an avid student of the theater and frequently attends professional workshops in New York and Washington, D.C.
Karen Dolan, is
President of Smart Business Services
of Northern Virginia, a consulting
firm which provides accounting, payroll, human resources and marketing
services to area firms. She holds a degree in Business Administration
from the University of Connecticut. She has completed graduate
level courses in Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Business Law,
and Non Profit Management and is a CERTIFIED PAYROLL PROFESSIONAL™.
She has been advising small businesses in accounting, budget and
planning, payroll and benefits, and year end preparation for twenty-two
years. In addition to her responsibilities as a board member for
ETAP, she is also Treasurer of WFCM a Homelessness Prevention
Agency.
Mary Quigg- National
Account Manager, Conference Direct is an association professional
with extensive experience in conference and trade show management,
event marketing as well as sponsorship procurement and activation.
Prior to joining ConferenceDirect, Mary was the Director of Meeting
and Education Services for the International
Council of Air Shows,
a professional trade association. She currently handles sponsorship
programs for a variety of trade association clients. Mary is a
member of the American Society of Association Executives, is fluent
in Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University.
Kenneth S. Dees, Systems Engineer and Computer Specialist at SSB
Inc. of Fairfax VA. Responsible for the acquisition of contracts, both governmental and civilian, the vision of the project, and the delegation required for project completion. Member of several community theatre productions.
Mary Hurlbert, Controller for GAP Solutions, Inc., a government contracting firm providing training, business consulting and operations support services across the US. At GAP Solutions, Mary is responsible for the day to day corporate accounting functions. Prior to moving to Northern Virginia and becoming actively involved with ETAP, Mary lived in Mobile, AL. In Mobile, she served on the board of directors for a local Credit Union, was a member of her church Finance Council, and participated as a board member of the school her children attended as well as holding several officer positions with the PTA.
Danielle Marquis is a Mathematical Statistician for the United States Postal Service where she does financial estimation and analysis. She holds an M.S. in Statistical Computing from the University of Central Florida and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Florida where she also received minors in dance and statistics. Danielle danced for the Washington Capitals, the Washington Wizards and with various groups at the University of Florida. Danielle is also a proud alumni of ETAP. |
