children musical theatre performing arts

Encore Theatrical Arts Project (ETAP) was founded in 1996 to present live musical theater performances to family audiences throughout Northern Virginia. Based in the Encore Performers studio in Chantilly, ETAP has been dubbed “the best kept secret in Northern Virginia.” Nothing beats ETAP’s shows for pure entertainment.

With a panache belying their age, the performing arts company of 9-18 year olds consistently brings audiences to their feet. Remarkable talent, youthful exuberance, a rich repertoire drawn from American Musical Theater, and uncompromising standards are the hallmarks of ETAP shows.

Most people know that certain words bring bad luck when said in a theatre, but what if that was just a clever ploy created to protect a secret?  See what happens when a down-and-out producer stumbles on a magic portal into the Land of Broadway Characters and tries to kidnap a leading lady for his own play.  Join us for a night of theatre where a backstage pass takes on a mystical meaning that can only spell fun for the whole family.

Broadway is Calling will be held at the Richard J Ernst theater at Nova Annandale campus.
April 17th 2010. Performances @ 2pm, 5pm and 8pm.
April 18th 2010. Performances @ 2pm, 5pm.
